At this Jazz In The Kitchen we’ll talk a bit about Lee Morgan. I hope you were lucky enough to see the wonderful movie I Called Him Morgan, shown last year at TIFF. An extremely talented trumpet player, with a very interesting and troubled life. In his short thirty-three years he covered a great variety of styles, including bebop, hard bop, and pop.
